How this tool works

UF GPA Calculator

Estimate a weighted GPA for planning by entering course grades and credits.

Formula or calculation logic

Weighted GPA is calculated from Ξ£(grade points Γ— credits) Γ· Ξ£(GPA-bearing credits).

Worked example

A 4-credit class at 3.0 and a 3-credit class at 4.0 give (12 + 12) Γ· 7 β‰ˆ 3.43.

Use it in a few steps

  1. 1Enter only the grades, marks or grade points requested by the calculator.
  2. 2Add the matching course credits or weights when the tool asks for them.
  3. 3Run the calculation and review the result together with the formula shown below.
  4. 4Before using the number on an official form, compare it with your institution’s current grading policy.

Important limitation

This independent calculator is not a University of Florida service. Official UF GPA calculations can depend on transcript and repeat-course policies.

Frequently asked questions

Is this result official?

No. Kabarilal CGPA provides independent educational calculators. An official transcript, university portal or awarding body remains the authoritative source.

Why can my result differ from my transcript?

Institutions may handle repeats, failed courses, pass/fail subjects, transfer credits, optional subjects and rounding differently. Those rules can change a final GPA or CGPA.

Can I use this for planning?

Yes. It is useful for quick estimates and what-if calculations as long as the inputs and grading scale match the rules you are trying to model.
