How this tool works
ASU GPA Calculator
Estimate a course-weighted GPA using the grades and credit values you enter.
Formula or calculation logic
For GPA-bearing courses, multiply each grade point by its credit hours, add the quality points, then divide by the total GPA-bearing credit hours.
Worked example
If two courses are worth 3 credits each and carry grade points of 4.0 and 3.0, the estimate is (4.0Γ3 + 3.0Γ3) Γ· 6 = 3.50.
Use it in a few steps
- 1Enter only the grades, marks or grade points requested by the calculator.
- 2Add the matching course credits or weights when the tool asks for them.
- 3Run the calculation and review the result together with the formula shown below.
- 4Before using the number on an official form, compare it with your institutionβs current grading policy.
Important limitation
This is an independent estimator, not an Arizona State University service. Grade symbols, repeated-course treatment and exclusions can change by policy, so compare the result with your current ASU record or official rules.
Frequently asked questions
Is this result official?
No. Kabarilal CGPA provides independent educational calculators. An official transcript, university portal or awarding body remains the authoritative source.
Why can my result differ from my transcript?
Institutions may handle repeats, failed courses, pass/fail subjects, transfer credits, optional subjects and rounding differently. Those rules can change a final GPA or CGPA.
Can I use this for planning?
Yes. It is useful for quick estimates and what-if calculations as long as the inputs and grading scale match the rules you are trying to model.
